House of Soca Shines at the 2025 Junior Monarch Finals!

The 2025 Scotiabank Junior Monarch Finals in Barbados was a night to remember, and House of Soca made sure it was unforgettable! Held at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, the competition showcased the best young talent in both the Calypso and Soca categories and our members delivered stellar performances that made us proud!!!

Soca Category: House of Soca Dominates!

Mr. Showman brought the energy, charisma, and lyrical fire to successfully defend his crown, winning the Junior Soca Monarch title for the second year in a row! His performance lit up the stage and secured his place as one of the most exciting young soca artists in the region.

Right behind him was our very own AJ, who claimed 2nd place with a powerful and crowd-pleasing performance that had the audience on their feet.

Also representing House of Soca in the Soca category was **Jayden Inniss**, who performed his vibrant and uplifting track *“Ah Too Bless.”* Jayden brought great energy and confidence to the stage, earning cheers from the crowd and showing that the future of soca is in good hands.

The 1-2 finish by Mr. Showman and AJ, along with Jayden’s strong showing, is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and passion that defines House of Soca.

Calypso Category: Sabiah’s Sweet Tribute to Barbados

House of Soca’s Sabiah represented beautifully in the Calypso category with her song “Barbados So Sweet.” Dressed in a vibrant blue and yellow costume reflecting the national colors, she delivered a heartfelt tribute to her homeland.

Her performance was warm and engaging, celebrating Barbadian pride with clear vocals and graceful stage presence. Though she didn’t place in the top three, Sabiah’s message and delivery earned genuine applause and admiration from the audience.

We are incredibly proud of every single House of Soca member who made it to the finals. Their dedication, artistry, and courage to perform on such a big stage is an achievement in itself. From the rehearsals to the spotlight, they showed what it means to represent with pride and purpose.
